Stephen Goudie
I build automation that quietly saves a business hours every week. The repetitive stuff someone currently does by hand: pulling data from portals, filling forms, chasing follow-ups, syncing systems that were never built to talk to each other.
Before AI, I spent a decade doing this at the infrastructure level - connecting payment gateways, ERPs, CRMs and stock systems across ecommerce and SaaS platforms, where a failure on a Friday night meant real money and real consequences. That discipline is what carries over now. The model is the easy part. What's hard is wiring it into systems that resist cooperating, handling the failures nobody planned for, and building something that holds up when you're not watching it.
So I start small: one workflow, mapped properly, prototyped, measured. If it works, we build from there. If it doesn't, you've lost a week, not a quarter.
